about

From stalking in the shadows of a 4-year silence, ‘London’s heaviest’ finally emerged to reclaim their throne with this enigmatically titled and much-anticipated mini-album, ‘Habitual Linestepper’.

Wavering vocal melodies and flirtations with electronic decomposition fracture the reductive comparisons to Iron Monkey and Burning Witch that often orbit this set-up of drums, dual bass players and vocalists. Opening with a reprise of their acclaimed debut ‘gee that ain’t swell’, ‘Habitual Linestepper’ confounds the expectations of both critics and fans alike.

Set for a follow up on EYESOFSOUND in late 2008, this 5 track release is both a welcome return and a farewell to one-half of Palehorse’s vocal onslaught, Seedi, whose acerbic vocals and aggressive live performances have earned Palehorse a formidable reputation in the UK underground.

This was a beautifully bleak and brutally barbed return for these infamous sludge-mongers.
